White Sand Cottage - period home in beach suburb

It was great to have a dog friendly house that actually had a secure yard.

We had a great stay and found the property very clean and close to everything we needed. Positive: The property was clean and close to everything we needed. It had everything we needed including coffee pods which was very handy. Negative: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Lovely property, location is just great & Steph was so easy to deal with, very professional & helpful. There were broken/not working items, but overall house was great. Heating is amazing for this time of year!

It was A on walking through the door smelled lovely and super clean, this was a pleasant surprise. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving goods. Living lounge area worked fine for the 4 of us but probably not enough couch space to accommodate the amount of people the house could sleep. We took our whippet whom was not able to be in backyard unsupervised as lots of pre existing holes around fence line and it was quiet muddy but it is winter.Location of the house was sensational 10min walk one way was beach and lots of walking tracks 10min the other way city centre.Would definitely book here again:)

It is a nice house in a good location, just needs to be cleaned better and made to be safe for dogs if it is going to be Positive: The house has a nice layout and a good location close to many things in Warrnambool. Negative: We chose this accommodation and gladly paid the pet fee because it was advertised as dog friendly. However we found the left side fence beside the shed had holes underneath it that almost any sized dog could fit under and next door were other dogs that would come by the fence. The holes seemed to have been haphazardly covered by bits of brick and board but this is not dog friendly in any way and created a lot of anxiety for us keeping the dogs outside since they had to be tied up or constantly supervised. Also, it seems as though the property had not been cleaned in quite some time. We had to completely vacuum, mop and dust the house on arrival. There were many spiders and cobwebs, one web stretched from the roof down to my pillow. Some of the sheets on the beds were dirty, there was old garlic bread left in the oven, and there were two bottles of milk in the fridge that were over a month expired.
